Australian Grand Prix

LEWIS HAMILTON TAKES POLE! YES!

It was a completely topsy turvy race, this. I cannot remember a race in recent history when both Ferraris failed to complete and to see Raikkonen outbrake himself into a corner trying to overtake Timo Glock in the Toyota is simply unheard of. The field finished with only 9 of the original 22 cars, with everyone else crashing out. Slight disappointment over Timo Glock and Nelson Piquet Jr.'s unfinished races, with Force India's drivers predictably failing to finish. But Quick Nick and Nico Rosberg took 2nd and 3rd place respectively and that demands huge respect, for having Williams clinch their first championship points so early on and having BMW cement their position as the field's number 3 team after Ferrari and McLaren. Kudos too to Honda for winning their first points of the season through Rubens Barrichello. A far cry from last year where they damn near finished at the bottom every single race.

I can't wait for Malaysia.
